Rodney Powell Awards: nominations open 7 January 2025
Nominations are now open for the 2025 Rodney Powell Awards for Volunteering.
This is your chance to celebrate our amazing volunteers who are making a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people across the UK. This year Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) is also rolling out the red carpet for a new category: Outstanding Contribution to Volunteering: Student Voice. This award highlights the amazing impact of Student Voice volunteers.
These exciting awards are named after Rodney Powell, Thomas Pocklington’s great nephew who received an MBE for his services to BPS people. He was a trustee at Thomas Pocklington Trust for 37 years from 1983 to 2020, when he sadly passed away.
