WAF 25th October 2018
The third meeting of the West Midlands Working Age Forum was held on the 25th October 2018 at Ernst and Young Offices in Birmingham City Centre.
The aims of the Working Age Forum are for it to be a place where people with a visual impairment can network and receive information and advice. The event focused on themes around employment and the topics presented were formulated from feedback gathered at previous events.
The guest speaker this time was Anthony Tattum from Big Cat Creative and Marketing agency. He delivered a talk focused on creating a professional presence on social media, covering how to maximise exposure on LinkedIn and Twitter. The presentation was interesting with many probing questions and ideas for follow up sessions.
The WAF was well attended as usual and we are pleased to see our numbers growing each time, as well as repeated attendance.
We hope to see even more people at the next WAF on 25th April 2019.
